I bursted into laughter the moment I heard this question on Panchvi Fail Champu. Decided to pose the same to my colleagues/frnds, and here are the answers.
SK: It will be USD for me. Universal Standard Dial...meri tanhayee is in the universe
SS: mere hisaab se...local STD kuch nahi lagna chahiye. Because me n my tanhaiye will b using an internal network within the brain...neuron-to neuron:) so no external network reqd basically.
SC: (after a long pause, smile on his face) Local lagna chahiye :) :)
DP1: Charge lagega hi nahi, kyun ki "reliance to reliance" free hai.....
HJ: Are, agar meri tanhayee koi aur network use karti ho to... rate to lagega hi na. So basically network pe depend karega
CA: No answer..he is still thinking about share market..no time to think about call rates
HP: Woh tere tanhayee ke upar depend karta hai...agar bahut deep thinking kar raha hai to STD lagega...ya fir agar teri tanhayee ki wajah (GF) bahar hai to STD lagega...
DP1: (repeating his earlier statement): Charge lagega hi nahi...tu aur teri tanhayee intercom pe hai....external line use hi nahi ho raha
ME: Agar main tanhayee mein hun to matlab main isolation mein hun, mere aas pas koi bhi nahi hai....aur agar main sodaphone user hoon, aur mera sodaphone kutta (pug) nazar nahi aa raha.. to matlab network hi available nahi hai...to phone kaise lagega.....agar main hairtell use hoon, to mereko farak hi nahi padega..kyun ke mereliye local ho ya STD, rate same hai.. 1/- ....Haan "bhi pi yell" walon ka mereko pata nahi....

Agar tu aur teri tanhayi baat karte hain, to virgin mobile lene ka. Fayde mein rahega.
aur rahi baat STD ya Local ki...tricky question. Dono ho sakta hai. Dpepend karta hai teri tanhayi kidhar hai? Go da point.
*** mai mere tanhai ke sath 7 saaal baat kiya .... wo bhi BPL ke HAPPY HOURS wale scheme ke sath (which is not in existance anymore ! 11 in the night to 6 in the morning) i used every minute of it :D .................... mai bot paisa diya hai.... to charge to lagna hi chahiye na.......
*** ha if the reason for ur tanhaee is in local network to LOCAL charge warna to boss.... forget about lunch n dinner... you will have to pump in money for STD charges N sutta !!!! :D

Tanhayee is local to a person, so it travels with the person himself - on International roaming, that gets activated automatically for Sodafone. Don't know about others.
Since tanhayee always travels with the person, and considering "Tanhayee Tanhayee, Milon hai faili hui tanhayee" from DCH, network is quite strong globally, hence definitely its local charge.
Hope you agree with my point.
