Bhagwadgita to the rescue...
CAUTION: Following conversation is of philosophical nature.

J: Some how I am not feeling satisfied after my work here. Feeling some thing is missing out
D: What's wrong, want to stay back for a few more days?
J: I feel I have very high expectations from my self, and if I don't fulfill them I don't get satisfied
D: If you are not happy with your current assignment, you can still work on it and do something better
J: Ya I know, I want to do some thing which has to be very good and perfect, at least once I want to be the best of all. That is my wish right now. My dip should be remembered for years.
D: One fundamental question. What is it that you are seeking? "recognition / fame"?
J: Recognition from my Profs and recognition of my work. Why are you asking this?
D: Your statement reminded me of “Achilles”. There is a dialogue in the movie, Troy:
"Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity. And so we ask ourselves: will our actions echo across the centuries? Will strangers hear our names long after we are gone, and wonder who we were, how bravely we fought, how fiercely we loved"
J: :-) So What do you think?
D: Achilles did great things because he wanted his name to be remembered.
I guess, people who did great things are divided into 2 types. One type is of those: who did great things because they wanted their name to be remembered (fame). Other type is of those who did great things because they loved or believed in those things beyond anything. They did those things for personal satisfaction than for any recognition.
J: So what do you think, for what I am working?
D: I am not making any assumptions about you. You keep doing your work.. “karmanyevadhikaraste......”

J: :-) :-)
D: :-) :-)

Baba Dhanu Bangali Uvacha:
“You should be unsatisfied because you didn’t give justice to your skills. The motive that drives you should not be any recognition, but only your aim/ambition/satisfaction”
